Good day to all! Today happened to start off as a really sunny day. So, we’re gonna use this sunny appearance to get a photo of what’s set up behind our restaurant. This is the storage locker that will house most of our kitchen gear thats staying while we get this renovation on the go.
As you know, this will help our kitchen be able to handle the volume that our restaurant is seeing these days. I wanted to muse a bit about the kitchen. Be it yours, your friends, or ours, the kitchen is the beating heart to most of us. Being an east coast’er, the kitchen is normally where every party and social gathering tends to end up. For most, the kitchen is the soul of any home. A place that sustains and nourishes us. A place that connects us. So, it’s fitting that at the heart of this crowfunding project is our kitchen. Our beating heart.
It’s amazing and humbling to see all the support both past and present that our business has received. The relationships that we’ve forged with our loyal customers are one of the main reasons we’ve decided to go through the community to fund this project. It gives those around us an opportunity to be part of something really great that’s happening just down the street. A chance to help grow the cities' food culture.
